act 1: first & foremost…

sit down & think about what you are doing before you start clicking anything.

this includes planning out any changes you want to make to your blog.

moving will offer you prolly your best chance to make a major change to the look & feel of your blog, all under the auspices of chalking it up to the move. so think about exactly what you want your blog to do for just a little bit.

if you’re like me…

you might have started blogging just on a lark, more than anything else.

as such, i went with what was quick & dirty…

well, not like a myspace kind of dirty…

but the key was i hadn’t really thought about the first iteration of the funcave very much. and to be quite honest…

it kinda showed.

so the move to the new funcave was not just a good time to think about making changes…

it was really the only time to make changes.
