laying out the welcome mat

a big hello to everybody making the trek over from the old site.

thanks for coming to see the new place.

still some unpacking & cleaning up to do…

particularly in the area of the intra-funcave linking.

the good news is that all the previous posts & comments were brought over 99.99% intact by the excellent wordpress migration tool.

the only downer tho is that all the pre-existing links still refer to the old site, and have to be changed.

but your friendly neighborhood happyfunboy has that at the top of his priority list, so hopefully the amount of times you get redirected back to the previous site should be minimal after today.

obviously the technical series & smackdowns will be modified, but there won’t be much worrying about other types of posts.

also have a good bit more to still add to the funbar on the right, including folks who haven’t yet been put back into the rogues gallery.

so please bear with yours truly a bit while he finishes plugging in all the gear.
