my big secret…revealed!

and this really is a biggie, after all.

many of the folks who know me personally also know that, as of 2 days ago…

yours truly had been told he would not be attending the worldwide partner conference in boston, which starts day after tomorrow.

despite being a panel member for a session at the small business symposium…

which starts in a scant 8 hours, btw…

my employer had decided they were sending me to neither the symposium nor wpc.

however…

your friendly neighborhood silvertonguedboy had kept his reservations intact, and by 6:30p on friday, had finally convinced the power-that-be that his attendance at the conference should happen.

altho certain folks who are well-known to regulars of the funcave…

namely the diva & the vlad…

were told of the sudden clearance to go late friday…

they were sworn to secrecy of such levels that the diva even lied, on purpose, to help maintain the masquerade.

all with only one purpose in mind…

to keep queenie in the dark about it!

you see…

queenie had been dying to give me a present she bought for my birthday, which was actually last thursday.

so tonight…

thanks to some key help from robbie “danger” upcroft…

the vlad & yours truly managed to utterly & completely shock queenie when we both waltzed into the logan airport hilton.

in fact, it didn’t quite register that yours truly was really there, evidently…

at first she thought i was simply dropping vlad off…

like i’d driven him up to boston & was then scooting back down to the land of landfills.

so no…

it’s not an optical illusion.

i’m looking forward to meeting a ton of smb-ers & sbs-ers tomorrow…

and a ton of other folks during the 3 days after that.
