the future

this post originally drafted july 16, fwiw…

so we had a big long talk about sbs show last evening.

of course it was all nda, so you won’t be seeing any of the details here at the funcave.

but what you will see is that…

going forward…

i have decided that i will no longer be a part of sbs show.

this is not a rocketbooming because…

  • there’s absolutely zero money involved
  • the decision is/was totally mine
  • no one knows nor cares who the hell i am anyway

all best as always to sbs show…

it’s just not for me anymore.

  1. I just wanted to thank you on behalf of the community for all the hard work you put in the SBS Show, you were already missed when we taped an episode yesterday.

Again bud, thanks for all your help and dedication.

  2. Chris,

I think you don’t do yourself justice with regards to the third point on your list. Your contribution to the community has had a really positive impact on those people who have had the pleasure of meeting you.

Even the content on this site offers insight into your experience and expertise which I know people benefit from.

It’s good to see that you are moving forward and you know I’ll always be there in the background cheering you on with a cowbell!

  4. Chris,

I respect your decision to head in a new direction, but the SBS Show won’t be the same without the cowbell bro. We do care, and we do miss ya!

  7. Dude. You will be missed.

But now you get to come back as a guest, flip Vlad a bunch of shit, and let him spend the next day editing it out.

    See you soon.

  13. Hey Chris,

    Bad news indeed…

    I know who you are… Boston was a blast…

Good luck with whereever the future takes you…

  14. Chris I always felt Vlad was the comedy and you the Brains. The Adam Corrolla to the Dr. Drew. Well I think the show was great with the both of you and have very mixed feelings regarding having to hear an annoying british accent squeak now.

Please let us know if and when you plan on hosting your own podcast.

  15. Chris,
Thank you for your work on the SBS show. It has been an excellent tech resource.

  16. Sorry to see you leaving the show. There are alot of priorities such as family and business. I trust you have the character to wisely spend those hours saved from doing the show.

I do hope that we will see you in Redmond.
