while we’re at it…

mothership desperately needs to hire someone to be the microsoft acronyms & naming lead.

preferably, someone who is either…

  • a professional insult comic
  • a parent
  • a junior-high kid

why those kinds of folks, you ask?

because those 3 demographics understand the very real heartache & devastation that can occur from being saddled with a name or initials that can be parsed to something totally humiliating.

for example…

demo readiness toolkit parses to drt.

makes me hope vista doesn’t take a drt nap.

still…

drt’s much better than the other evo rollout initiative your friendly neighborhood had the very distinct yet blessedly brief displeasure to be associated with recently…

the community launch team.

as there are often ladies present at the funcave…

i’ll leave that up to you to parse down.

but if you still don’t see what i’m talking about…

go ask your mother to explain it to you.
