@ michael...

hmmm...the bcm07 doc stipulates only sql2k5 is supported for remote database configuration. iirc, i vaguely remember something regarding moa07 & sql2k5 as well, altho that doesn't necessarily mean sql2k won't work.

i reviewed the sba06 integration doc you mention as one of the 5 pieces of source material. in the end, i found it was vastly different than the working bcm07 doc...so much so that following it would have needlessly complicated both the initial setup for bcm07 & the integration with moa07.

I've been running this setup for virtually 6 months now. Albeit with sql 2000 before the R2 Upgrade was available for SBS. It's awesome!!! It wasnt anywhere near trying to get 5 different parts together though. I just followed the SBA2006 integration whitepaper and the only bit i had to work out on my own was integrating the bcm and sba into one database but there is a wizard within sba to do that

Well, I'm in the same position that you used to be in - having to integrate five different programs that never "played well with others". So, after reading your review and testing the trial versions which really, really are working great, I'm taking the plung. I'll let you know.
