got pandora?
for all you media-junkie visitors to the funcave…
if you haven’t tried pandora yet, you are beyond missing out.
personally, your friendly neighborhood happy can’t stand listening to radio because of the capriciousness of their selections half the time.
peer-stealing is out. it’s a crazy goal of mine to totally & completely avoid federal prison in my lifetime.
paying for music via itunes is out…since my last name isn’t getty. or hilton, for that matter.
yours truly is averse, bordering on allergic, to paying a monthly fee for an all-you-can-eat service like napster.
imagine a radio station that continuously plays stuff like one of your favorite bands or songs?
ok, so pandora is ad-supported & requires registration. but they’re upfront about it & the ads only appear on its page. no big, in my humble opinion.
so what stations are on your friendly neighborhood happyfunboy’s list after the first 5 minutes?
- staind
- the white stripes
- pixies
- rolling stones
- iggy pop
- the cult
there’s only one thing that would turn pandora into an absolutely irresistible tool…
a built-in ‘more cowbell’ station that would play songs that use the official instrument of the funcave
big shoutout to repmessenger for the hookup.

OK, this is pretty sweet! But I’m still keeping my XM Radio for the car.
