the funcave turbocharged
you might have noticed a few changes here at the funcave, particularly over there on the sidebar. i decided it was time to rip out some of the existing systems, particularly those which were more flash than anything else.
that’s right kiddos, say goodbye to our old pal…

but i also decided it was finally time to quit hacking around with the sidebar.php file manually. so the robot horde bolted on a nifty new implant system called sidebar modules aka sbm.
the upgrade couldn’t have gone any smoother & now makes sidebar changes as easy as a few mouseclicks. the power & flexibility of wordpress continues to amaze me.
big huge thanks & a shoutout to lee kelleher, super-nice guy & the creator of the nifty category cloud widget for wordpress. lee was kind enough to help me get his widget working with sbm. kudos lee!
but the very best of the changes slated for the funcave is still yet to come!
