Blackberry Suite for Windows Mobile 6

One word:

Why?

There’s a discussion about it at FB. Good time to come jump in the moshpit with us.

I presented a 199 slide Powerpoint deck. Twice!

It's not the size of your deck...

Not only that, but I’ve lived to tell about it.

Big shoutout to the Louisville & Cincinnati SBS user groups. Thanks to everyone who came out to hear me speak Wednesday & Thursday night on Mobility. I enjoyed visiting both groups immensely.

The feedback I’ve gotten so far has been really really good. I’m very glad people enjoyed the presentation so much.

Thanks in particular to Tim Barrett & Paul Arthur, who each did a bit of chauffeuring me in Louisville & Dayton/Cincinnati respectively.

In fact, I cracked up at the sign Tim made for me…

Have your people call my people. We'll do lunch.

Now if I had just been wearing a $500K sable coat, $3M in platinum & gold jewelry & been pouring out champagne on the driveway of the Hampton Inn for all my dead homeys…

I’d have been the Caucasian answer to Puff Daddy.

Also have to give a quick shoutout to the original presentation that inspired the format of both my talk & slide deck on Mobility…

Dick Hardt’s amazing OSCON keynote from 2005

And a final shoutout to Jason Langridge’s post that not only pointed me in the direction of the Dick Hardt keynote, but also got me thinking about presentation styles & really lit a fire under me to rethink my approach a bit.

So thanks everybody!

The Shape of Things to Come

Tomorrowland

The first of a key subset of previous posts here at the Funcave have been migrated to the Funboard. The original links & posts will remain in place here at the FC to help direct folks to the new location.

Now that the process has been streamlined, the rest of the posts slated to migrate will follow in short order.

So if you still need to sign up for the Funboard, now would be a good time to do that.

My Windows Mobile 6 talk in Louisville is tomorrow!

Even tho Susan’s post says it’s next week…it’s not. It’s tomorrow night!

So if you’re within striking distance of the Louisville, KY area & would like to hear my take on mobility, including a LIVE look at Windows Mobile 6, then sign up for the KYSBSUG meeting.

KYSBSUG’s even giving away 2 NFR copies of Windows Vista Business. But you have to pre-register to be eligible.

Here’s the pre-registration signup link for tomorrow night: https://www.clicktoattend.com/invitation.aspx?code=117458

And if you’re within striking distance of Cincinnati, OH…

I’ll be giving the same talk to CiNPA the very next evening, on Thursday. Contact CiNPA directly to get particulars such as time & location for the Thursday meeting.

Of course, if you’re not within striking distance of either location, the Funboard, with all its various & sundry goodness, is always just a short login away!
