To me it appeared we were being shown how the iPod needed all the extra cables and had to be connected via USB. I'm not 100% positive, but I believe the cable on the Zune was for power and not necessarily for the music connection. Then again, while my Zune does support WiFi, it doesn't have bluetooth built-in and as far as I know neither do the iPods so I'm not sure how they would work wirelessly.
