Das Plasma, Ringsum Zwei
Time to try again. Fingers crossed.
The original plasma display Panasonic sent me was damaged in transit. As in, something had whacked the living crap out of the top of the case.
Which basically…
- Separated 2 metal pieces of the case where they met, leaving a gap at the seam.
- Shattered the screen at that side of the unit, leaving all kinds of striations and spiderwebs in the display.
Needless to say, I refused to accept the shipment.
Props to Panasonic, and the shipping company, for quickly expedited a new unit. I didn’t even have to do anything. They both had already taken care of the return and getting a replacement unit on the way, within the space of about 3 days.

Here’s hoping the second time’s a charm.
