Verizon Treo 700 Model Update
Verizon recently pushed out an update for their Treo 700w and 700wx units.
Here’s a rundown of the improvements…
- 700w
- High-speed tethering
- A2DP support for high def audio over Bluetooth headsets
- Additional Today Screen options
- Additional support for Bluetooth carkits and Palm’s wired carkit
- Dialing preferences
- 700wx
- Updated A2DP and Bluetooth tethering
- Better tethering performance
- Daylight Savings Time updates
This patch shouldn’t wipe data, according to Palm, altho it may zap some user preferences.
As always, the Funlabs’ robot horde recommends you fully back up your device before getting your patch on.
