[...] As I’ve said before here at the Funcave, I have an enormous amount of respect for Mark Richt and what he’s accomplished in rebuilding the storied Georgia progam back to national prominence. A lot of other people in the Tide Nation feel the same way. [...]

@ Paige...

Unfortunately for the Dawgs, they got caught in a prefect storm of insanity this year in the SEC, and college football in general.

The best cure for that? Don't drop games to underdogs.

Maybe they'll get that aspect of their game covered for next year. I'm hoping UA gets that part of their game covered as well this fall.

[...] Watching the entire Georgia team run onto the field after their first touchdown - Maybe not classy, but definitely classic and one of the things that led to the win. Excellent move for Coach Richt. What some other SEC coaches had to say about it. And more at the funcave.
@ Vlad...

The way games have gone in the crazy-mixed-up-Bizarro-world of the SEC this year, anything more than 10 points could legitimately called a manhandling.

Besides, they made Tim "Too Tall" Tebow cry!

I don't really see how losing by less than two touchdowns to a top 25 team can be considered manhandling, especially with the stack of injuries that have piled up and Florida basically becoming "Tim Tebow and High School Marching Band"; So yeah, Georgia won but perhaps it was just their turn..

As for class... There is no class in SEC, it is a high power league with wealthy hicks wanting a winner and bragging rights at any cost and has always been far closer to a Bill Dance Fishing Show than the classic opera.

I don't see that changing.
