You think I was gonna pass up the chance to send Steve Ballmer an e-mail?
Heck, I typed it on my trusty Treo 750 and fired it off before he had even left the stage.
Yes, I tried to make it relevant. Yes, it was constructive…altho blunt. Yes, it was in earnest.
And yes, I did get a response. Not 1, but 2 whole sentences.
People tell me…that’s a big deal.

I watched his MIX08 ‘interview’ with Guy Kawasaki. He gave out his email address. I sent steveb an email a few days later and I got a one sentence reply from him the next day.
I was impressed…
