Windows Essential Servers Come To Action Pack

The long anticipated October Action Pack arrived a week or so ago, and I have to say that this is one of the most valuable Action Pack shipments in a long long time.
Both Small Business Server 2008 Standard and Essential Business Server 2008 Standard are included in the October Action Pack. Action Pack also includes a full 10 CALs for each of them.
If you want to get serious and dig into the Windows Essential Server family, this is the closest you will come to getting a nuclear powered set of rocket boots for free.
OK, yeah…Action Pack isn’t totally a freebie. There is a yearly fee of $299. But frankly, that cost is so low compared to what Action Pack contains, you’re basically paying for shipping and media.
And for anyone who wants to start whining about the SBS and EBS versions in Action Pack not being Premium Edition, talk to the hand.
