Good intentions don’t really mean much. Sure, you can vow to go rock-climbing, but if you never actually do anything about learning how to do it, and making sure you have the appropriate gear to help you learn, what happens? You’ll very quickly become a damp stain at the bottom of a rock face, that’s what.
In the spirit of getting back on track, August has officially been dubbed “Gear To Get Your Butt In Gear” month at www.chrisrue.com. What that means is I’m giving away a bunch of stuff, gratis, simply for filling out various super-short surveys (1–2 minutes to finish tops).

And the biggest giveaway so far?

Thing is, ANY MCT in good standing who has signed up for the MCT Rewards program can issue the same vouchers. So if you don’t want to get them from me, ask your local MCT. It doesn’t matter WHO you get them from, just that you GET them…and then that you USE them.

Since August has been unofficially dubbed “Gear To Get Your Butt in Gear” month here at the Funcave, ALL the giveaways reflect some aspect of that idea. That idea being, basically, it’s time to get off your duff and get busy making whatever you want to happen actually happen, Cap’n.
And since there’s no time like the present for getting yourself in gear, we’re launching Giveaway 2 in advance of the official Giveaway launch date of August 17.

What’s the the giveaway? Vouchers good for up to 20% off MS exams at authorized Prometric testing Centers! As a bonus, these same vouchers are also good for 40% off corresponding MeasureUp practice tests.
Although the vouchers don’t actually expire until June 30, 2010, this giveaway ends at 11:59p on August 26. Why? Because on August 27, 2009, any new vouchers issued will be good for only 10% off exams. Which means once our stock of 20% vouchers are gone, they’re gone!
